Hacer Forest, located within the borders of Aladağlar National Park, has been accepted as the best post forest in Turkey. It is an indispensable place especially for mountaineers and trekking enthusiasts. It is surrounded by dense trees in the extension of Hacer Valley and is very close to Kapuzbaşı Waterfall. When we look at the area of the forest, we see that it is 2750 hectares. Hacer Valley is used as the main route for hiking in the Aladağlar. Local villagers also use this place for transhumance. In the forest, there are mainly tree species such as larch, red pine, fir, cedar, spruce, juniper and aspen. The most important of the four water sources in Hacer Forest is the 'Soğuk Spring', located in the forest center and the surrounding area used as a camping area.
