Hajar Forests
It is the best post forest in Turkey. The entrance and exit to Yedigöller, the presence of wildlife and the helicopter landing pad are among the factors that make Hacer Forest important. The most important and famous geography of Turkey's most beautiful landscape area Aladağlar National Park; Yedigöller, located between Kapuzbaşı spring waterfalls and Hacer Strait, which connects both regions, is located within the borders of our district Ulupınar village and 2200 mt. above sea level. 2200 mt. around the extremely steep height of over 3000 mt. wild goats live in the step floors formed between the rocks.
The most important of the four water sources in Hacer Forest is ‘Soğuk Pınar’, which is located in the centre of the forest and whose surroundings are used as a camping area. With an area of 2750 hectares, the flora of Hacer Forest consists of fir, oak, cedar, juniper, hornbeam, aspen, poplar and larch. In addition to the caves waiting to be discovered in Hacer Valley and Forest, the most important one is the ‘Toprak Taş’ cave, which is used as a ‘natural cold storage’ by Ulupınar villagers. Hacer Forest is like a pearl necklace attached to Aladağlar with its tourism, caving, mountaineering and landscape beauty.
