İslibucak Forests
There are many hiking trails in Beyşehir, where mountainous and forested areas are dense. It can be said that some of them occupy a rare place among them. Perhaps among the rarest is the İslibucak forest hiking trail. In order to reach the track, you first need to reach Yeşildağ via Konya-Beyşehir. From here, there are two road options that reach İslibucak from Dumanlı and Kurucaova. If you choose the Dumanlı road, which is shorter than these, you will have the opportunity to see unique forest views and cant houses unlike the other. This road will arouse excitement in you as well, with its minaret size and dense pine trees that you will see throughout your journey. If you have chosen the Kurucaova road, you will travel along the lake shore for a long time, and follow the beautiful coast and islands of the lake. On both routes, you will encounter the unique view of the Anamas Mountains, vegetation, wildlife and traditional village settlements, and you will travel between the delightful pine scents along the 45-50 km pleasant road from Beyşehir to İslibucak. From here, the snowy peak of Dedegöl and Beyşehir Lake will appear like a painting behind you.
In the Islibucak region, where the air is clean and the waters are cold, every place you can see is wooded and green. Here, for those who want to camp, you can taste the completely natural cheese and yoghurt made with traditional methods by the uplanders staying on the uniquely beautiful plateaus. You can rest all day long among the fountains and springs that rush through the dense forest cover. When you reach İslibucak Plateau in the forest, a 4-5 km track will be waiting for you with the view of the snowy Anamas Mountain from here. During the walk, which starts from an altitude of 1,500 m, you may encounter snow cover from time to time, even in spring, and you can also find the opportunity to photograph the magnificent nature with its scents of thyme, bird chirping, endemic plants, flowers, and even pick morel mushrooms if the season is appropriate.
