Karadenizliler Forest

Black Sea forests are scattered on the sea-facing slopes of the North Anatolian Mountains, where the Black Sea climate is effective, and in the northern parts of the Marmara Sea. These areas, which have the most lush forests in Turkey, are in the first place in terms of the richness of vegetation under the forest. In the Black Sea climate, where summer drought is less experienced, abundant precipitation and partially regular precipitation are reflected in the vegetation in these regions. While lush forests are seen on the north-facing slopes of the mountains, the forests become sparse by decreasing the tree species on the south-facing slopes. As you go from the coast to the mountain slopes, the temperature and precipitation changes have allowed different plant species to grow here. As a result, belts were formed in the vegetation from sea level to high.
