Altınkale Travertines
Hot Çermik spa water, which is healing for many diseases, offers us a visual feast with its 48°C temperature, limonite and hematite contents. Altınkale travertines highlight the rich texture of the cermik water and reveal the geological and geomorphological structure. Special morphological structures and tectonic elements in the area have made it almost like an open-air geology museum.
There are 21,000 square meters of travertine and 19 thousand square meters of recreation area in and around Altınkale, which consists of an area of 40 thousand square meters.
