Antalya Aquarium
Antalya Aquarium is an entertainment centre consisting of an aquarium and snow world indoor areas established by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality with the build-operate-transfer model in Konyaaltı district of Antalya province. Antalya Aquarium has a total of 64 tanks with a water volume of 6,800 cubic metres, and the tunnel aquarium in the centre is 131 metres long and 3 metres wide. The decoration of the tank was designed by Italian sculptor Benedetti in Africa and contains a life-size aircraft, ship and submarine wreckage. The tank is the largest tunnel aquarium in the world.
In addition to the aquariums, the amusement centre includes a snow world, food and beverage halls, and a variety of activities are constantly taking place throughout the centre. The amusement centre is also used by schools to help plan educational trips.
