Boztepe Road

Boztepe Cape, also known as Sinop Cape, is a popular sightseeing area that hosts a large part of the city. Surrounded by fascinating Black Sea landscapes on three sides, Boztepe Cape continues for approximately 9 kilometers. Surrounded by Hamsilos Bay, Akliman and Başkaya Cape, Boztepe Cape is also famous for being the only natural harbor in the Black Sea. There is a cute lighthouse at the northernmost end; Boztepe Cape, where you can witness steep cliffs, cliffs and stunning rock formations formed by volcanic reasons, also attracts a lot of attention with Karakum Beach, one of the most visited beaches of Sinop, with black sand still bearing the traces of a volcanic eruption on the seabed.
