Dolphinarium

Batumi Dolphinarium, the first dolphin show center in the former Soviet Union when it opened in 1966; Since then, it has been one of the city's major attractions. It was one of the largest dolphinariums in the world when it opened. The dolphin park, which was closed in the early 90s due to the difficulties caused by the political-economic situation in the country, was reopened after a 20-year hiatus.

The shows, attended by 10 dolphins, are held in Georgian and English. The giant aquarium is home to about 100 different fish species from the Black Sea.
