Ergan Mountain Ski Resort
It is located 12 km from the city center of Erzincan. The Ergan Mountain Winter Sports Tourism Center ski area features Turkey's longest lifts, with lengths of 1,800 m, 2,662 m, and 2,455 m, and includes a cable car and chairlift facility. With a new technology chairlift system with a capacity of 2,700 people per hour and a cable car system with a capacity of 1,000 people per hour, Ergan Mountain Winter Sports Tourism Center is a candidate to become Turkey's new ski center. It is located at the foot of the Munzur Mountains, and the height of the facility is 2,970 m. Ergan Ski Center is 10-12 minutes away from the airport. Access to the ski center is provided by a dual carriageway, illuminated median strip, and hot mix asphalt road. A two-stage chairlift system has been installed in the Ergan Ski Center area. There is one day-use accommodation facility. Starting point: Access to the beginning of the ski area established at Ardıçlı Lake is provided by 22 gondola-cable car lines with a capacity of 8 people from the Arpalık area. The ski area at Ardıçlı Lake can also be reached by road. Stage I of the ski area starts at Ardıçlı Lake, at an altitude of 1,740 m, and ends at Yayla Düzü, at an altitude of 2,340 m. This area has a 2,580-meter-long, 4-person bubble system chairlift. The second stage of the ski area starts at Yayla Düzü at an altitude of 2,340 meters and ends at an altitude of 2,950 meters. This area has a 2,362-meter-long, 4-person bubble system chairlift.
