Erzincan Paragliding
Paragliding in Erzincan is done in the Keşiş Mountains Büyük Çakırman region and Ergan Mountain. The suitability of geographical conditions and the excess of thermals make Erzincan an important paragliding center. In addition, Erzincan has suitable wind conditions for paragliding. The Keşiş and Munzur Mountains, with elevations of 3200-3500 m, are suitable regions for high jumps. The Paragliding Festival and the Paragliding World Championship Final, attended by athletes from nineteen countries, were held in Erzincan in 2013.
