Istanbul Dolphinarium opened its doors to its visitors for the first time at the end of 2008. Istanbul Dophinarium, which is the largest indoor Dophinarium in Europe, built with the cooperation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey, plays an important role in strengthening the cultural and social relations between the two countries. Istanbul Dolphinarium's opening was attended by Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, as well as many statesmen and businessmen, such as Russian Federation State Assembly International Relations Committee First Deputy Chairman Leonid Slutskiy, Utrij Dolphinarium General Manager Lev Muhamedov, as well as students and citizens.
There is approximately 3100 m3 of sea water in Istanbul Dolphinarium, which is established on an area of 8,695 m2 and has a closed area of 5,800 m2. There are 7 pools in total in our facility. You can benefit from the activities in our services section in our show center, which has a total capacity of 950 people, including the VIP tribune with a capacity of 64 people.
