The Catholic Church in Giresun Province Çınarlar Neighborhood was built between 1850 and 1900. The church is located in a garden surrounded by cut stone walls. It has a rectangular plan, the main facade is determined with a triangular pediment and has a remarkable architecture with stone fluted corner columns at the corners. The north facade of the building is quite flamboyant and has a pointed arched entrance in the center of the facade. Its two-winged wooden door is one of the most beautiful 19th century door examples in Giresun. On the eastern façade, there is a second door with a flat stone weft giving access to the square-sectioned bell tower. The interior has preserved its original shape until today, and the cloister part was renovated later in accordance with the original. Although the tile mosaic floor covering the naos is original, the floral and geometric ornaments on it have a very decorative appearance. It is one of the most beautiful examples of non-Muslim buildings in Giresun with its facade arrangement, interior flooring, window shapes and decorative ceiling.

Used since 1967 as a children's library, the church building was renovated and repaired by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2012 within the scope of the "Children's Libraries Improvement Project" and all equipment materials were renewed for the interest of children.
