Northern Cyprus Turtle Watching

Two species of sea turtles, the Loggerhead and the Green Turtle, prefer the beaches of Northern Cyprus to lay their eggs every year. As a result of the research, Karpaz, Akdeniz Village, Güzelyalı and Alagadi beaches were determined as the main spawning areas of turtles. At certain times of the year, people observe turtles in these regions.
