Trabzon Aquarium
The project, which has the distinction of being the first aquarium in a tunnel in the world, was planned to connect the Zagnos and Tabakhane Valleys.
The 2nd route proposed for the Tunnel Aquarium project was approved by the Trabzon Cultural Heritage Preservation Board. The length is 193.34 meters, the width is 16.90 meters, and the height is 8.5 meters.
The project was handled in 2 parts as tunneling and aquarium construction, and the tunneling tender was held on February 9, 2018. The tunneling work was completed.
The project was presented to the public on 19 May 2022.
