Yoroz Observation Terrace
Yoroz Observation Terrace is a panoramic viewing platform located at the summit of Yoroz Hill within Yoroz Kent Ormanı (Yoroz City Forest) in the Altınordu district of Ordu Province, in the Black Sea Region of Turkey. The terrace offers sweeping views over the surrounding landscapes, including the city of Ordu, parts of Giresun Province, and forested valleys below.
Overview
The observation terrace was constructed at the 930-metre summit of Yoroz, a hill within Yoroz Kent Ormanı, which was declared a city forest in 2006. The platform was opened to the public as part of an initiative to enhance tourism and outdoor recreation opportunities in the region.
The terrace provides visitors with panoramic views of the Black Sea region, making it a popular destination for sightseeing, photography, and nature appreciation. On clear days, portions of neighbouring provinces such as Giresun can be seen from the platform.
Location and Access
Yoroz Observation Terrace is situated in the Saraycık neighbourhood of Altınordu, approximately 20 kilometres from central Ordu. It is accessed by hiking trails, walking paths, and roads that lead through the forested park area to the summit.

Yoroz Kent Ormanı attracts visitors interested in nature walks, cycling, picnicking, and outdoor recreation. The walking trails and leisure facilities in the area complement the scenic value of the terrace. Since its opening, the terrace has become a notable attraction in the region, drawing significant numbers of visitors who come to experience its views and natural environment.
Views and Landscape
From the observation point, visitors can see expansive forest cover, valley terrain, and urban areas of Ordu, as well as distant landscapes including parts of Giresun Province.
