Abacığ Plateau
Standing out with its untouched nature, Adıyaman's Gerger district is frequented by local tourists every season with its historical, natural and cultural beauties. The meanders formed by two streams flowing with the melting of snow in Abacığ Plateau in Yeşilyurt village converge at a low point of the mountain and go underground through a hole.
These underground waters come out from the springs on the slopes of the mountain as drinking water for Yeşilyurt village and surrounding villages. The meanders of the Abacığ Plateau, which are covered in green, are among the places frequented by the farmers who make their living from animal husbandry in the region. In the spring, local tourists go to the region to take pictures.
