It attracts local and foreign tourists to the region due to its natural beauty and being the center of Anzer honey, as well as being home to many endemic flowers. It was declared a tourism center by the decision of the Council of Ministers in 1991 and has peaks exceeding 3 thousand meters and forests rising up to 2 thousand meters.
In addition, it is suitable for trekking, paragliding and summit climbing, which are alternative tourism activities, and provides access to Çoruh River and Bayburt on the one hand, and Uzungöl Tourism Center on the other hand. Anzer Honey and Plateau Festivals are held in the first week of August every year on the plateau.
