Argan Plateau
Work has been initiated to bring the 1650-altitude Argan Plateau of Ordu's Akkuş district to tourism.
The first stage of the works carried out by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism started with the tender made.
In the plateau, which is 3 kilometers away from Akkuş, the state maps of 270 hectares, geological, geotechnical survey reports based on the zoning plan, and environmental layout, master zoning and implementation zoning plans for tourism are being prepared.Pointing out that they plan to make the plateau a center of attraction with its structure suitable for summer and winter tourism, Yılmaz stated that an important work has been carried out to open the plateaus, which are the natural heritage of the Black Sea, to the public and to develop plateau tourism.
