Bektaş Plateau
Among the plateaus in Giresun, Bektaş Plateau is one of the remarkable plateaus with its natural and cultural resources. It is located approximately 56 kilometers from Giresun city center, in an area where the borders of Dereli and Bulancak districts intersect. The plateau was declared a tourism center in 1990 together with its surroundings as a plateau area where typical examples of traditional plateau life can be observed as well as its attractive natural beauties.
Bektaş Plateau can be reached from 3 different routes via Giresun-Dereli-Yavuzkemal, Giresun-Batlama Deresi-İnişdibi, Giresun-Bulancak roads. Plateau festivals are organized in July.
