Berçelan Plateau
Berçelan Plateau and its surroundings are an area with mountaineering, skiing, trekking opportunities and beautiful flora. Berçelan Plateau, like other plateaus, is a plateau where the local people migrate in summer to graze their animals and to evaluate their products, where they live in traditional black tents. It is located 18 kilometers to the north from Hakkari city center. Seyithan glacial lake, located around the plateau, adds a distinctive feature and beauty to the environment. It is a suitable area for mountaineering and skiing. Golan Plateau, located to the west of Berçelan Plateau, is in a position to be the most important ski center of the region. The Golan Plateau can be reached by a 15-kilometer road.
