Botan Caves Local Campground

The Botan Caves, which flow on a high hill directly opposite the Botan Stream and the Botan Dam, are one of the historically important touristic places of the region. Botan Caves, visited by local and foreign tourists traveling to Eastern Anatolia and visiting the region, sheds an important light on getting to know Siirt and its surroundings from a historical perspective. The caves and the surrounding church ruins, which have survived to the present day by preserving their old originality, are the important archaeological remains of the region unearthed.
