Cagrankaya Plateau
Çağrankaya Plateau is located in İkizdere District at an altitude of 3,200 meters. The region, which is one of the largest plateaus of Rize, attracts attention every period of the year. Çağrankaya Plateau is named after the sound echoes created by the steep sloping hills and cliffs around it. Çağrankaya Plateau, which has infrastructure such as electricity and telephone, has a grocery store, butcher and a country café. You can reach the plateau, which is 25 kilometers east of İkizdere District of Rize, from the main road where the roads from İkizdere, Çayeli, Güneysu and Çamlıhemşin routes converge. If you want to stay in Çağrankaya Plateau, where there is no accommodation option, do not forget to bring your camping equipment with you. However, you can buy meat and dairy products and bread from the plateau.
