Çakıroğlu Plateau
Çakıroğlu Plateau is a plateau located 32 kilometers away from Hayrat district of Trabzon province. Covering an area of 6 square kilometers, the plateau is 7 kilometers from the nearest settlement, Sarmaşık (Büyükmezsoşar) neighborhood. It is used for animal husbandry between April and October every year.
Çakıroğlu Plateau, which is approximately 2500 meters high, is connected to Hayrat district of Trabzon province. You can observe many plant and mushroom species in and around the plateau, which is decorated with a giant Turkish flag.
