Gölyanı Plateau
Gölyanı Obası, which is located within the borders of the Border Village of Yağlıdere District and 51 km. away from the district, surrounded by houses made of wood called hartama, which is completely natural and unique to the region, and surrounded by pine trees, including a natural lake covering an area of 3000 m2 in the shape of a bowl, is a hidden and undiscovered paradise to offer the nature, health and green aspect of tourism today.
Highlanders go to Gölyanı Obası between April and December. However, the plateau is more lively and active during the festival times. Gölyanı Obası is within the scope of natural protected area; it is under protection and the construction of reinforced concrete buildings is prevented.
