Obruk Plateau
Obruk Plateau, located within the borders of Karapınar district of Konya province and separating the Tuz Gölü basin and the Konya Plain, has a length of approximately 75–80 km in the east-west direction and a width of 35–65 km in the north-south direction.
Obruk Plateau is bounded by Tuz Gölü Basin in the north and Konya Basin in the south. There are mountainous areas in the East and West of the plateau. The mountainous areas in the east are of volcanic origin. These are the Karacadağ-Hasan Mountain-Melendiz Mountains, which are ordered in the Southwest - Northeast direction.
