Pazarcık Plateau
Pazarcık Plateau is a plateau located 43 kilometres south of Araklı district centre of Trabzon province. The altitude of the plateau is 950 metres. The status of the plateau, which was declared a tourism centre in 1991, was cancelled in 2021.
It is 43 km south of Araklı on the Karadere route. It is a highland village centre where the roads reaching Gümüşhane via Yağmurdere and Bayburt via Aydıntepe pass. Telephone and shopping facilities are available. In the plateau, which is surrounded by forests, there are opportunities for trekking, plant examination, resting and cycling tours.
