Uluvahta Plateau
The construction of the pond, which was started in Uluvahta Plateau of Gölköy district in line with the instructions of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, was completed and put into service.
In the clay core semi-permeable filling type, 10 m high from the foundation, 82 meters body length pond, 32,750 m³ water is stored.
With the commissioning of the pond, which was built in harmony with nature, an alternative water source was created against drought risks and a new recreation area with a lake surface of 17,000 m2 was brought to our region.
