Yıldız Mountain
Yıldız Mountain is a volcanic mountain at an altitude of 2.552 meters, located within the borders of Sivas province. Yıldızeli district got its name from this mountain.
Various folk songs and legends have been formed about the mountain. The mountain, which has suitable track areas for skiing, has come to the fore as one of the important centers for winter tourism in Sivas. On the summit of the mountain are the ruins of a castle thought to have remained from the Hittite period.
