Abide-i Hürriyet Monument
Abide-i Hürriyet Monument, which is taken under protection in Tekirdağ Archeology and Ethnography Museum, is a monumental fountain built for the proclamation of freedom. It is located between the current Public Education Center and the Municipality buildings. It was built in 1908 by the Governor of Tekfurdagi (Tekirdag), Adanalı Ömer Ali Bey, with the name Abide-i Hürriyet upon the proclamation of the 2nd Constitutional Monarchy.
