Afyon Republic Martyrdom and Memorial
Republic Martyrs Monument, one of the most important stops on our list of places to visit in Afyon; It was built in memory of Turkish soldiers who were martyred by fighting the PKK in the Republican era. The monument is among the places that should be visited by those who want to commemorate our soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. The Republic Martyrs Monument is located on the Afyon-İzmir-Antalya highway, approximately 7 kilometers away from the city center of Afyon. The cemetery in question was built in 1999.
