Ağzıkara Han Caravanserai
Ağzıkara Han is a historical caravanserai in Turkey, built during the Seljuk period. It is located in Agzikarahan village of Aksaray province. The caravanserai is considered one of the most important and richly decorated examples of ordinary caravanserais built by non-imperial donors. According to the foundation inscriptions, the closed part of the building was completed in June 1231 during the reign of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad the first, and the courtyard was completed in February 1240 during the reign of his successor, the second Gıyâseddin Keyhüsrev. The builder of the building is Abdullah's son Mes'ud.
