Aksaray Paşa Turkish Bath

Paşa Turkish Bath is located in Aksaray city center, adjacent to Zinciriye Madrasa and Azmi Milli Flour Factory. Built by Sultan Abdülhamid II's Serkarini Ortaköylü Hacı Ali Pasha, this Ottoman building is the only bathhouse that has survived to the present day by maintaining its functionality in the city center of Aksaray. It consists of two parts as women's and men's baths. The bath, which is made of smooth cut stone, has a total of six domes, two of which are small and four are large.

The building, which is a typical Ottoman work, consists of six rooms with a square plan. There are two iwans facing each other in the rooms, and the domes are placed on the arches in the corners. There are small holes on the bath, whose domes are built with stone, that serve as lighting. The main part of the bath, whose floor was originally made of marble, has been removed today and a mosaic was built instead. In the middle part of the bath, which is used as an entrance, there is a concave hexagonal pool that preserves its originality.
