Algerian Hasan Pasha Mansion

Algerian Hasan Pasha, who served as a captain and grand vizier in the second half of the 18th century, was one of the famous statesmen of the Ottoman Empire. Hasan Pasha, who had his mansion built in the 1770s, used this place both as a resting place and as a center where he worked on the region. The mansion was built right next to Yerkesiği Village, one of the first Turkish villages established in the region. Kiosk, 18–19. It reflects the typical features of the farm or country houses of the Ottoman notables and notables of the 19th century. It is known that Algerian Hasan Pasha stayed in this mansion when he anchored his fleet in Beşike Bay to wait for the favorable south winds. Today, only a tower that was used as a watchtower remained standing from the mansion.
