Amasra Ancient Theater
Located in Amasra district, the ancient theater was built during the Roman Period. The theater, which is one of the places that visitors to Bartın must visit on their historical tour, is located on the hill known as Aya Yorgi Hill. According to historical data, the ancient city, which has a history of 5 thousand years, was used as the living space of the Phoenicians in the 12th century BC. There are many historical artifacts from the historical walls to the theater in the ancient area, where many civilizations from the Archaic period to the Ottomans sheltered.
