Ancient Aqueducts

It is located in Düzce Province, Merkez District, Kemerkasim Village, 124 blocks, 7 parcels and an area excluding title deed. The 2nd group has been registered as a monumental work. The aqueducts, which are 10 km away from the ancient city of Prusias ad Hypium, have a length of 160 m and a height of about 20 m. is around. Only the foot parts of the arches, which were built as two storeys made of mixed cut and rubble stone with Horosan mortar, have survived to the present day. The surface area of the aqueducts belonging to the Hellenistic and Roman periods is 5672.11 m2.
