Ankara Ataturk House Museum
Ankara Atatürk House Museum or Atatürk House for short; It is a museum built on the land of Orman Çiftliği in Ankara as a replica of the house where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, was born in Thessaloniki. House; It was built with the decision of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors dated 6 November 1980, to commemorate Atatürk's 100th birthday. The foundation of the house was laid by the then prime minister Bülend Ulusu in 1981 at 17.00 on 19 May, which is considered Atatürk's spiritual birthday. The house was inaugurated by Kenan Evren on 10 November 1981, the anniversary of Atatürk's death.
While the house was copied, it was faithful to the dimensions of the real thing, and it was built in three floors and in pink color as in the original. When you enter the building through the door with a stone staircase, on the first floor there is a stony room, a cellar and a maid's room; sofa, kitchen, living and guest room on the second floor; On the third floor, there is the sofa, the Atatürk room and the museum room.
