Ankara University Toy Museum

Ankara University Toy Museum was established on April 23, 1990 as Turkey's first toy museum  . It was opened to visit by Prof. Dr  Bekir Onur. The aim of the museum is to preserve toys that are under the threat of disappearance in the rapid change process in Turkey. In the context of this purpose, the museum supports research on industrial history, cultural history, education history and childhood history through toys.

The toy museum is a scientific institution that serves to research children's culture in Turkey, as it is a museum where various examples of traditional children's games and toys are exhibited. The collection in the museum, which has around 2,000 domestic, foreign, industrial and handmade toys, is gathered in five main sections.
