Bademli Rock Tombs
It is understood from the examination of some coins and inscribed stones found in the graves that the carved rock tombs around the Bademli village of our district belong to the Roman period. Rock tombs are 2 or 2.5 square meters wide. In terms of style, it shows great similarities with Urartian rock tombs. The grave entrances are 90x60 cm in size, and the height of the graves, which are in the form of a single room, is approximately 1.90 meters. Some of the ceilings appear to be dusty, while others appear flat. Various shapes were drawn on the tomb walls with ocher. Some of these graves have small holes opening into each other.
