Balaban Bey Mosque
Balaban Bey Mosque, located in the Kiğı district and dating from the Akkoyunlu period, is also known as Piltan Bey and Cami-i Kebir. The mosque, which was built in the early 1400s, is the oldest surviving mosque in Bingöl. There is a historical cemetery in the garden of the mosque, and the tomb of Akkoyunlu Bey Pir Ali Bey, who built the mosque, is also inside the mosque.
