Bandırma Archeology Museum

With the land purchased from Bandırma Municipality in 1989, the construction of the museum building was planned by the Bandırma Museums Construction and Sustenance Association and its construction started in 1992. When the flood level was reached in 1993, its construction was delivered. to the Ministry of Culture. The works have been carried out under the supervision of the Istanbul Directorate of Surveying and Monuments since 1995. Bandırma Archeology Museum is located next to Atatürk Park, also known as Ziraat Bahçesi. It is approximately 200 m away from the intersection of Bandırma-Erdek, Çanakkale and İzmir roads. Being close to the museum makes it easy for those who want to spend their holidays in this region. Erdek is 22 km, Gonen and Manyas are 30-35 minutes away, Susurluk Thermal Springs, Edremit, Akçay, Altınoluk, Çanakkale-Assos etc. are approximately 35 km away. Bandırma Archeology Museum, which is on the route that vacationers who come to see Bandırma by sea, must use, is located behind the building of the Port Management and Soil Products Department. For those who do not have a private vehicle, a minibus service to the museum is organized every 15-20 minutes at the stop where minibuses and minibuses are located in front of the Istanbul Sea Bus Enterprise. However, with the rapidly developing city and the increasing population due to this development, it will remain in the settlement area in a short time.
