Barbarism Museum
The Museum of Barbarism is a museum located in the Nicosia district of Northern Cyprus and commemorates the events of Bloody Christmas. Following the events that started on 4 December 1963, when the house of Major Nihat İlhan, who was in charge of the Turkish Cypriot Forces Regiment, was raided by a Greek Cypriot armed group affiliated with the Akritas organization, it was turned into a museum and opened to visitors on 1 January 1966.
