Bazaar Mosque
Çarşı Mosque is located in Trabzon's Çarşı District, Kemeraltı. The mosque was built in 1839 by Treasurydarzade Osman Pasha, who was the governor of Trabzon for many years. Since the area where the mosque was built is sloping, shops were placed under the narthex on the northern façade. It is the largest mosque in the city. A regular stone work can be seen in the building. Baroque decorated borders are seen on door and window moldings. The mosque consists of an ampere portico with thin curtain walls placed between four three-section, domed columns in the narthex.
