Bellapais Monastery

Bellapais Monastery is a historical monastery located in the village of Beylerbeyi in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Bellapais Monastery was built on the foundations built in the 12th century during the Roman period, and the building is one of the eastern examples of gothic architecture, with all the additions made in the middle ages. It is located at the foot of the Kyrenia Mountains, about 10 minutes from the city center of Kyrenia.
