Burmalı Minare Mosque
It is understood from the inscription in the form of an arch on the door of the mosque that the mosque was built by two brothers. It is accepted that Said Ferruh, one of these brothers, was Necmeddin Ferruh Bey, one of the viziers of the Seljuk Sultan, the second Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev. His brother is Haznedar Yusuf. The date of construction is 1242 according to the inscription. The minaret of the mosque, which is named after the construction of its minaret and Evliya Çelebi referred to as the Mahkeme Mosque in his Seyahatname, was wooden when it was first built. The minaret of the mosque, which was damaged in the earthquake in 1590 and the fire in 1602, was completely destroyed in the great fire in 1730. Instead, the minaret was made of stone, this time in accordance with the strong stone structure of the mosque. This structure, which was formed by the grooves that rotated around the minaret, was called the Burmalı Minare, and the mosque was called the Burmalı Minare Mosque, after this time.
