Some sources also give the year 1447 as the date of construction. Its architect is Sinan's master, Müslihiddin Ağa. Apart from the mosques built before, there is a large fountain courtyard. The middle dome is high and large. It has eight buttresses against its opening power. The four minarets of the mosque are at the four corners of the courtyard. The highest of these minarets and the one with three balconies gave the mosque its name. Each of these balconies is reached by a separate staircase.
