Bursa Forestry Museum
Bursa Forestry Museum has been opened in 1989 in Bursa.It is Turkey's first forestry museum.It is a museum where everything living and non-living in the forest and forestry is brought together and exhibited. It is located in Bursa, on Çekirge Street, in the building known as the Clockmaker Mansion. Its founder is Zafer Öztaptık.
About two thousand works, mainly animal and plant fossils, communication and forestry engineering devices, maps and photographs, documents related to the history of forestry, are exhibited in the museum. Fossils of sequoia trees, which are only found in America in the world, that have survived to the present day in Anatolia and 16 million years old animal fossils found in coal enterprises in Orhaneli district can also be seen in this museum.
