Büyük Aslıhanlar Martyrdom
In the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief on 30 August 1922, Major Hacı Ömeroğlu Yusuf Ziya from Elazığ, First Lieutenant Mehmetoğlu Ahmet from Diyarbakır, Lieutenant Halil from Urfa, İbrahimoğlu Mustafa Hilmi and 42 Mehmetçik were martyred in Büyük Aslıhanlar Village. The cemetery was opened to visitors in 1995.
