Büyüknefes Village Fountain

The trough of the fountain, which is made of spolia stone blocks, smooth cut stone and rough cut stone, is also cut stone. There is a tomb stele with a triangular pediment and an acroter in the section where the fountain part of the building extends in the east-west direction. On this stele, there is a hawk or eagle figure with its head left in profile, its wings half open, three quarters of its body turned to the right, its claws frontal and detailed feathers depicted linearly, and a rosette on this figure. In the middle is a reused block made of marble. It has Arabic hayrat and 1942 inscription. In addition, a colorful marble architrave block stands out. There is also a reused stone block with an Arabic inscription on the main wall of the fountain with the date of H.1259. The spolia blocks on the main walls of the fountain, which does not have many architectural features, are important.
