Çanakkale Martyrs Memorial

Çanakkale Martyrs' Monument is a monument located on Hisarlık Hill, in front of Morto Bay on the Gallipoli Peninsula, at the end of the Dardanelles, within the borders of the province of Çanakkale.

It was built in 1915 to commemorate the Turkish soldiers who were martyred in the Dardanelles Wars during the First World War. The 41.7-meter-high structure, consisting of four columns and a dome, was designed by Feridun Kip, İsmail Utkular and Doğan Erginbaş. Its foundation was laid on April 17, 1954 and opened to visitors on August 21, 1960.

Next to it are the Mehmetçik Monument, the Turkish Garden, the Mustafa Kemal Monument in Çanakkale, the Wounded Soldier Monument, the Unknown Soldier's Grave and the Turkish Martyrdom.
