Carullah bin Süleyman Mosque
According to the inscription of the mosque in Emre Neighborhood of Kula district, it was built by Carullah Bin Süleyman between 1547 and 1548. There is a fountain in the south of the Carullah Bin Süleyman Mosque, and the remains of a 16th century bath in the southeast. There is a belief that the mosque and its surroundings were once used as the madrasah of Tabduk Emre, based on the remains of this bath structure, old fountain and some places around it. There are also tombs of Tabduk Emre and Yunus Emre in the village of Emre, where the mosque is located. What sets this mosque apart from many other mosques and makes it unique are the murals containing many still life figures including apartment buildings, piano, city portraits, which are rare in Islamic motifs.
